| SmartGate - Intelligent
Analogue FCT
SmartGate is a
single-channel analogue FCT, which provides a
number of services for cost efficient communications.
It is intended for small size companies and home
workers. SmartGate can be connected to a telephone
system, to a standard telephone or to PC (LAN) and can
be used for Voice, GPRS Data, SMS and PC Fax transmission. SmartGate features a host of outstanding features: SmartGate
can dramatically reduce a small company’s telephone
bill since all calls to mobiles are routed through
the SmartGate and high landlines to mobile charges are
avoided.
A great advantage of 2N SmartGate is its DialThru
function. When connecting to a telephone system
you do not need a spare analogue port. SmartGate will
sit between an analogue trunk and the telephone system
and intercept calls directed at mobile phones. PSTN calls
are ignored and allowed to pass through. When you connect
this FCT to your standard telephone set, once again SmartGate
determines the route of the call depending on whether
it is to a mobile or a landline.
SmartGate is equipped with both trunk and extension
interfaces. Therefore it can be installed
on a PBX trunk line or an extension.
Follow Me is particularly useful when SmartGate is used
by a home worker with a standard analogue (or ADSL) line.
It enables all incoming calls to be automatically forwarded
to their mobile phone without incurring high network divert
charges and landline to mobile call costs.
Mobility Extension is a unique feature
that allows an extension user’s mobile phone to
become an extension off the PABX. It can be programmed
so that both the desk phone and mobile ring for all incoming
calls and when one phone is answered the other stops ringing.
If the call is answered on the mobile then the user can
still use system features such as holding and transferring
the call.
Thanks to Minute Management, you will
always call in the cheapest possible way.
You can set the number of free minutes in the configuration
(monthly or daily) and when the free minutes are used
up; a call to a mobile will be passed to the PSTN or rejected.
The GPRS connection enables
e-mail communication and Internet browsing. It
is often used as a back up internet connection for small
offices, or primary internet connection on boats or in
distant areas.
SmartGate enables all LAN users to send and receive
SMS with a 2N network application - the SMS server.
The delivery status of any message can be obtained automatically.

EnergyBank
is a back-up power supply that can be used with
any equipment requiring 12V supply such as SmartGate &
EasyGate. With this product any 12V equipment can work
for a substantially longer period of time without stable
feed. It also ensures a clean stable supply in areas without
regulated power supply.
2N SmartGate package includes accessories as follows:
Telephone cable, Serial cable, Supply adapter, CD with
SW, GSM antennas, Input connector for SMS sending and
Screws with dowels.
Installation:
2N SmartGate can be installed within a few minutes
and its installation requires no special
technical skills.
