Why not just leave my number in the queue?
TXTel is a dialling system, not a messaging system. If we left your message in a queue forever it would probably stay there forever - hours, or days, or weeks. As it is, businesses have the choice between answering your TXTel request within a reasonable period or losing it, just as they do when you call them in the normal way. And six minutes is plenty of time for an organisation committed to answering the phone: far longer than most people would wait on-hold, for example.
