The 2N VoIP-Fixed Cellular Terminals - 2N Voice Blue Lite and 2N Voice Blue Enterprise are IP based SIP or SIP/H.323 gateways, which enable to make calls directly from IP phones and networks to GSM networks. 2N VoIP FCT’s are compatible with any IP PBXs, also with Asterisk IP Soft Switches and hosted IP solutions.

The Voice Blue range of IP-GSM gateways enable to make up to 4 simultaneous calls. The Voice Blue Enterprise can be also utilized as a protocol translator between SIP and H.323 environments.

Voice Blue Lite is an ideal complementary product to any SIP-based IP PBX. It allows the user to get from the IP to a GSM network and vice versa very cheaply. It has an RJ45 Ethernet connection and can therefore be easily integrated into any VoIP environment.

Voice Blue Lite offers VoIP services (internet telephony), all functions and advantages of digital GSM gateways and many other features. Thanks to its efficient LCR, the Voice Blue Lite VoIP to GSM Fixed Cellular Terminal always chooses the cheapest route to any GSM network used.

By connecting Voice Blue Lite to your corporate SMS server (VoIP company), you can use SMS as an additional communication tool for your clients. SMS delivery reports are obtained automatically.

2N Voice Blue Enterprise is a VoIP-to-GSM FCT supporting both SIP and H.323. It is a complementary product to any SIP or H323 based IP PBX and in certain circumstances can be used as a substitute for a SIP based IP PBX because of the SIP proxy server that can be included.

The 2N Voice Blue Enterprise fixed cellular terminal can be used not only as a gateway to GSM but also a protocol translator between the SIP and H.323 environments (the scheme below).As Voice Blue Enterprise uses the Siemens MC75 module, it is capable of data transfer (GPRS and EDGE technologies are implemented) and therefore can serve as a gateway from your LAN to the Internet. A firewall can be embedded to provide maximum security.

All these features can be active and physically used at the same time. The whole system can be supplied as a "puzzle", which means that the customer chooses only the features he wants to have in the gateway.

Voice Blue Enterprise as a protocol translator

In the translator mode, 2N Voice Blue Enterprise can make media translation between H323 and SIP environments. This feature can be used simultaneously with the termination of calls to the GSM network. This means that Voice Blue Enterprise can handle calls from SIP and H323 at the same time and route them both to VoIP environments and GSM networks.

StarGate 32 Channel FCT’s are now available with VoIP SIP interface instead of PRI cards. This enables a more effective connection between StarGate and VoIP environments without the need for an external IP Gateway. The future development of PRI AND SIP interface in a StarGate will allow this device to act as both an FCT and an IP Gateway for traditional PABX’s.
